Project at a Glance
- Mylar Sugars Ltd (MSL) is a Public Limited Company registered in the State of Karnataka under The Companies Act, 1956 on November 29, 2012.
- The Project site falls under Kalyana Karnataka Development Board Zone-1.
- Mylar Sugars Ltd., had setup of an integrated sugar mill of 10000 TCD expandable to 15000 TCD. Which is an Eco-Friendly 31 MW capacity power (COGEN) project expandable up to 65MW for decentralized generation of exportable surplus power, mainly from the renewable sources of fuel.
- The integrated project comprises of a sugar mill for manufacturing of high quality sugar, thereby making available required Bagasse for the Cogen power plant. The command area of the proposed sugar mill has excellent irrigation facilities, potential for sustained Sugar cane supply to the sugar mill and biomass availability.
- The aggregated Phase-l capital investment for the integrated project has been estimated at Rs. 900 Crores.
